Curious about grouts and anchoring?
The key requirement for a grout is to fill a void and keep it filled indefinitely.
A hardened grout should be in permanent contact with the underside of machine or baseplate etc, to ensure loads are evenly transferred to foundations.
Simple grouts of sand and cement with no compression for shrinkage make it difficult to achieve complete and permanent contact therefore it is essential to use pre-bagged multi ingredient products designed for specific applications.
